Website Support

To make changes to your website, you'll need to use a website editing program. I recommend Microsoft FrontPage to most of my clients who choose to update their websites themselves. I will show some examples using the LIVE WEB EDITING feature in Microsoft FrontPage 2003. Live web editing allows you to make changes without uploading files. After saving the changes you've made in Microsoft FrontPage, they can be viewed on the internet.

ACCESSING YOUR WEBSITE

File>Open website. In the form field at the bottom of the window,  type http://yourdomain.com (replacing yourdomain with your sites actual domain name) and select OK.  In the next window type in your username and password. Select Open.

MAKING CHANGES

To make changes to the text in your website, simply replace or add to existing text using only web safe fonts. After making any changes, select File> Save.

ADDING IMAGES

IMPORTANT - Do not use FrontPage to resize images, Use a photo editing program to resize images then save the file to your computer.

Place your cursor where you would like to add an image. Insert> Picture > From File. Select the images that you would like to add.
